this is the new reddit but dnd
yo hi welcome to our group!! my name is jean and i am the dm of this campaign, MAU! and you might be asking: jean,, tumblr exists! why are you posting on this really niche website?? well its because i can and i want to and tumblr is a bit messy
this campaign is set in Earth-8271B a different stretch of timeline where animite exists in the mcu universe, discovered in the 1950’s, blah blah blah, all that
the year is 2026, the avengers disbanded/died and Kamala Khan had this amazing idea to recruit the new young avengers! “But Jean! What happened to the og young avengers in this universe??” Well let me summarize this for you:
kate bishop is in the thunderbolts
riri williams went insane because she made an evil wish to get natalie back (which is still canon)
america chavez is hopping from each dimensional rip to another, she’s a lost stray,
tommy and billy became their own independent duo,
and cassie has been shrunken down to a microscopic level (she was trying to study animite but now who the hell knows where she is)
yep,, sounds amazing (not) especially if you know thr actual lore
in this timeline, tony and bruce created a time teleportation machine for a more safer way to cap to time travel. Kamala stumbled upon it and figured a good team has good diversity, right? so she brings a random skilled superhuman/whatever to this timeline to keep the world at ease.
Well keep the world at ease before the Avengerz and the Avengers start sliming eachother out lmao
npcs in this campaign are canon mcu characters with slight tweaks in their lore! Some great examples the thunderbolts, xmen, kate bishop, and many other interdimensional crossovers.
Thats it for now, PC introductions will be up soon! (yes im trying to run a mini Just Roll With It or Dimension 20 if it’s obvious enough)
